This critical role offers you the opportunity to own the operational standards of every conference we run. You will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of 10 European private equity conferences annually—covering venues, suppliers, on-site teams, and ensuring an unforgettable experience.

Your Responsibilities
(Mostly, but not limited to)
1. Supplier Research & Management
- Source, compare, and select top-tier suppliers for all event needs:
- Venues, catering, AV, technology, hospitality, and add-on services.
- Negotiate cost-effective contracts and terms.
- Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships with a high-touch approach.
- Conduct budget reviews and tracking to preempt financial risks.
2. Event Planning & Execution
- Design and run sponsored events, such as VIP receptions, lunches, dinners, and after-hours networking.
- Coordinate with venue staff to handle logistics—entrant control, AV set-up, floor planning, etc.
- Oversee on-site execution, ensuring flawless delivery of every detail.
- Continuous improvement: Problem-solve, adapt, and measure how to make each conference better than the last.
3. Internal Team Leadership
- Sift through and prioritise internal team requests and team queries—more info, fewer fire drills.
- Maintain inventory and documentation:
- Track stock for event materials (banners, signs, prop sheets, travelling kits).
- Run quality audits on design assets (custom banners, signage, and all promotional materials).
- Streamline efficiencies to reduce redundancies and bottlenecks.

4. On-Site Volunteer Management
- Recruit, train, and coordinate a 40-person volunteer squad to support conference execution.

This role is open to experienced professionals and career changers. We provide on-the-job training—but you must have a valid UK work permit.
Location: Onsite, London HQ (plus travel as required). Schedule: Monday to Friday Proximity: Just 4-minute walk from London Victoria Station.
