Event Operations Manager | London | Office based | Salary circa £50,000
Gecko Travel Recruitment are working on this exciting opportunity with an Event travel company who are recruiting an Event Operations Manager to join their growing team.
The Role:
As Event Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering premium travel experiences for clients attending some of the world's biggest sporting events. You will coordinate travel packages from booking through to event delivery, managing hotels, transport, hospitality, ticketing and client communications to ensure every journey runs seamlessly. This role includes travelling to major sporting events to oversee on-site operations, deliver exceptional client experiences, and represent the business in front of premium and high-net-worth clients.

You Will Have:
- Experience in event planning and operations, ideally within travel, sports or hospitality
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills, with the ability to manage VIP client expectations
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience coordinating travel logistics, bookings and supplier relationships
- Commercial mindset with confidence managing budgets, cost tracking and operational reporting
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel
- Self sufficient, resourceful, and comfortable working autonomously across time zones
Additional Info:
- Salary circa £50,000
- Office based in London
- International travel required including training in Australia and travel to major sporting events worldwide (this includes working evenings and weekends)
