The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Event Operations Manager to join our growing global operations team.
In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering world-class experiences across HLTH Europe and supporting our flagship US events. You'll oversee the planning and onsite delivery of major event features, partner programming, signage, venue services, delegate catering, and operational logistics that help make HLTH one of the most innovative healthcare events in the world.
Working closely with colleagues across Operations, Content, Production, Sales, Marketing, and external suppliers, you'll ensure every detail contributes to an exceptional attendee experience.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys owning projects from planning through onsite execution while working on one of the fastest-growing event brands in healthcare.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the operational planning and onsite delivery of partner programming and specialty event features across HLTH events.
- Manage event logistics from initial planning through build-up, live event delivery, and breakdown.
- Coordinate venue services, AV production, signage, delegate catering, temporary staffing, and contractor activities.
- Build strong relationships with venues, suppliers, partners, and contractors to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage supplier sourcing, quotations, negotiations, service agreements, and ongoing performance.
- Oversee event budgets, forecasting, purchase orders, invoice reconciliation, and cost tracking.
- Develop and maintain detailed operational schedules, production timelines, and event documentation.
- Partner closely with Content, Marketing, Sales, and Production teams to ensure operational requirements align with event objectives.
- Onboard partner programme stakeholders and provide operational support throughout planning and onsite delivery.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges quickly and professionally during live events.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and continuously enhance the attendee, sponsor, and partner experience.
What We're Looking For
You'll likely bring:
- 3+ years' experience delivering large-scale B2B conferences, exhibitions, or live events.
- Experience managing complex event logistics from planning through onsite execution.
- Strong vendor and supplier management skills, including negotiating contracts and service agreements.
- Experience managing event budgets, forecasting, and financial reconciliation.
- Confidence working with AV production teams and venue operations.
- Experience managing temporary event staff and contractor teams.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Experience working on international events or across multiple European venues would be advantageous.
- IOSH or similar Health & Safety certification is beneficial but not essential.
