Operations Manager – Conference Production (London)
About the Role
This role offers you the opportunity to own the operational standard of every conference we run. You will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of 10 European private equity conferences a year, covering everything from venues and suppliers to on-site teams and the experience itself.

Your Responsibilities
Your role is operational and dynamic. Core responsibilities include:
Supplier & Contractor Management
- Research, sourcing, and negotiating the best suppliers for conferences.
- Negotiate contracts—from space and services to branding materials and leader-details.
- Cost-control checklist: Alert the team to variances 48 hours prior to impactful change.
- Relationships first: Build strong, transparent connections with vendors, vendors’ vendors and teams to optimise service and responses.
Event Execution
- Plan, orchestrate, and oversee VIP events, lunches, dinners, and venues—bring our audience to life.
- On-site hands-on coordination: Venue staff, stage setups, session firmes and all logistics.
- Real-time incident management: Anticipating and troubleshooting day-of issues to guarantee flawless execution.
Internal Coordination
- Centralise queries and ensure clarity across teams: an organising omnibus of canons.
- Inventory tracking & management: Software + notional nits to grid-lock every detail—frommer tech gear to stationery essentials.
- Design quality control: Final sign-off on banners, signage, brochures, and program-forums.

On-Site Volunteer Leadership
- Hire, train, and manage a 40-person volunteer collective; ensuring friendly presence and operational excellence at every event.
