Event Project Manager (4 month FTC)

Event Project Manager (4-month Contract) Start Date: 13 July – 13 November 2026 Salary: £42,000/year (pro rata: £14,000 for contract)

Job Specification

A 4-month fixed-term contract opportunity for a senior project manager to oversee high-profile international education events. Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced environment with multi-project client management.

Key Events Managed

  • South America Counsellor Workshop – Bogotá, Colombia (30 Sep–2 Oct 2026) [Client/operational oversight]
  • Global Scholarship Forum – Sesimbra, Portugal (5–6 Nov 2026) [Delegate/upline logistics support]

Responsibilities

Strategic & Financial

  • Develop event strategies aligned with business goals and budgets.
  • Ensure cost-effectiveness, mediating contracts, managing expenses and Risk Management (health/safety/security contingencies).
  • Monitor budget adherence, negotiate vendors, and report ROI metrics.
  • Post-event reviews: Feedback + analytics to streamline future events.

Operations & Logistics

  • Vendor/venue liaison (contractors, local suppliers, hotel/housekeeping).
  • Catalogue exhibitor manuals/handbooks + attendee support.
  • Manage Marcom booking systems (training, troubleshooting, user optimisation).
  • Maintain event websites + delegate workflows (travel docs, payments, cancellations).
  • hotel rooming + exhibitor list management. Travel coordination via internal Travel Consultants.
  • Client/exhibitor/Sponsor engagement—resolving issues, solving challenges, billing.
  • Invoice processing + reconciliation with the Finance Team.

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience in student/venue management (fast-paced) or event coordination.
  • Fluent English (written + spoken).
  • Core skills: Microsoft Excel/Word; Google Sheets.
  • Detail-oriented, ** organisé**, with relationship management honed.
