💥 Event Project Manager

💥 £33,000–£38,000 💥 Leeds City Centre – Hybrid

ThePlaceToBe are partnering with a leading events agency who are looking to recruit an Event Project Manager. Working closely with one of their key global clients, you'll deliver exciting internal events from concept through to completion while building strong, long-term client relationships.

About the role...

This is a genuinely unique opportunity that's a little different from the norm. You'll spend three days a week embedded with the client, working as an extension of their in-house team, and two days a week with the agency, giving you the best of both worlds. If you've built your career agency-side and have always wondered what it's like to work client-side without leaving agency life behind, this could be the perfect next step.

You'll project manage a programme of exciting internal events from concept through to delivery, working closely with the client to create engaging experiences. From brainstorming creative ideas and sourcing venues to managing suppliers, budgets and logistics, you'll oversee every stage of the event lifecycle before being on-site to ensure everything runs seamlessly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
