Event Project Manager

Midlands / Leicester Based (2 Days In-Office) | £38,000 – £40,000 + Benefits

The Vibe

We are currently partnering with a standout boutique live events agency in the Midlands that punches well above its weight, creating immersive, high-impact experiences for global brands. As a close-knit, independent team, they avoid corporate red tape and focus on what really matters: creative freedom, flawless delivery, and great team culture. On their behalf, we are looking for an Event Project Manager who loves the energy of a small-agency environment—where your work truly makes an impact, you own your projects end-to-end, and no two days look the same.

The Mission

In this role, you’ll be a core player within a tight-knit team, bridging the gap between creative concepts and seamless physical execution. Managing projects end-to-end across corporate conferences, brand activations, and dynamic hybrid events, you'll be a key driver of the agency's deliverable quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Delivery: Owning the full event lifecycle, taking briefs from initial planning right through to post-event debriefs and client sign-offs.
  • Client Engagement: Acting as a primary, trusted contact for key client stakeholders—delivering collaborative, high-touch account management.
  • Budget & Logistics Control: Managing project timelines, supplier costings, and event budgets up to £100k with clarity and commercial discipline.
  • On-Site Operations: Taking a lead role on the show floor—coordinating AV tech, crew, set builders, and venues to make sure everything runs without a hitch.
  • Quality Control: Championing the agency's high standards, ensuring every detail of the experience is polished to perfection.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
