The Role
As an Event Coordinator, you will be the key point of contact for clients, delegates, and visitors, ensuring every event runs smoothly from enquiry through to delivery. This varied role combines event coordination, client service, administration, and sales support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a professional and welcoming experience for clients, delegates, and visitors, acting as the main point of contact during events.
- Coordinate the smooth delivery of meetings and events, ensuring rooms, equipment, signage, and event materials are prepared to a high standard.
- Liaise with internal teams to manage client requirements, including AV, catering, facilities, and accommodation arrangements.
- Respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts, and support the conversion of bookings through proactive follow-up and upselling.
- Manage meeting room bookings, schedules, and event administration to maximise efficiency and utilisation.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, deposits, and post-event billing, maintaining accurate records and reporting.
- Prepare key cards and event materials, including name cards, menu cards, place cards, and signage.
- Manage departmental supplies and support continuous improvement through client feedback and service enhancements.
- Build strong client relationships that drive customer satisfaction, repeat business, and support commercial objectives.

What we are looking for?
- Previous experience within a similar Meetings & Events, Hospitality, or Hotel role.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Shift pattern - Monday 08:00 - 16.30, Tuesday - Friday 10:00 - 18:30
