Delegate & Sponsorship Sales Executive
Location: North London (4 days office-based, 1 day remote)
Salary: £40k - £42k basic + uncapped commission (c.£20k OTE)
Ark is looking for a driven and commercially minded Delegate & Sponsorship Sales Executive to join our clients growing events team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced events sales professional who enjoys building relationships, winning new business and developing long-term client partnerships.
The role offers a great balance of delegate and sponsorship sales across a portfolio of high-quality healthcare conferences, giving you the opportunity to work with both attendees and commercial partners across the UK and Europe.
Whether you're already experienced in both delegate and sponsorship sales or you're a high-performing delegate sales executive/manager looking to take the next step into sponsorship sales, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell delegate places and sponsorship packages across a portfolio of healthcare conferences.
- Develop and manage relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of retention and repeat business.
- Proactively identify and win new business opportunities through outbound sales activity.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Engage with organisations across the UK and key European markets, including France, Spain, Italy, the DACH region and the Nordics.
- Consult with prospective clients to understand their objectives and recommend tailored event solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and forecasts within the CRM.
- Work closely with the events and marketing teams to maximise commercial opportunities across the portfolio.

About You
We're looking for someone who is ambitious, resilient and motivated by achieving results. You'll ideally have:
- Around 3 years' experience in events sales.
- Experience selling delegate places, sponsorship packages, or both.
- A strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Experience balancing account management with proactive new business development.
- A consultative and commercially focused sales approach.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Desirable
- Experience selling into the healthcare events sector.
- Fluency in German, Italian or Spanish would be a significant advantage, given the European markets covered.
What's on Offer
- £40k – £42k basic salary.
- Uncapped commission with realistic earnings of approximately £20,000 when minimum targets are achieved, high performers in the business earning c£9k per quarter.
- Commission starts paying from 75% of target, rewarding performance early.
- A hybrid working pattern of 4 days in office and 1 day working from home.
