A bit about you
First things first: whatever your background, beliefs or ambitions, there’s a culture of belonging at Hyve — and everyone is welcome. The question isn’t where you’ve come from, but where you want to go.
You’ll thrive here if you’re curious, collaborative and not afraid to challenge convention. We look for people who take pride in what they do, who are excited by change and always moving forward. The kind of people who stay open, keep learning, and look for better ways to make an impact.
Our shared behaviours guide how we work: we dare to do things differently, own our work, embrace collaboration, stay true to ourselves and others, and remember that optimism wins.
If that sounds like you, you’ll fit right in.
About you
As an Event Technology Product Specialist, you will be the technical expert for one or more of Hyve's event technology platforms, ensuring they are configured, maintained and supported to deliver exceptional event experiences.
Working under the direction of the Event Technology Manager, you will configure event technology solutions for multiple events, provide specialist technical support, troubleshoot operational issues and ensure platforms integrate effectively with Hyve's wider technology ecosystem including event websites, CRM, marketing technology and enterprise data platforms.
You will also play a role in the continuous improvement of our event technology products by working with business stakeholders and technology partners to shape new requirements, evaluate new functionality, coordinate user acceptance testing and support the successful adoption of new capabilities across the business.
This is a hands-on role, working closely with event operations teams and requiring occasional travel where necessary to attend events to support live operation of the event technology products.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
