About The Role
Join our HE Marketing and Student Recruitment Team as an Events and Student Recruitment Assistant.
This exciting role offers the opportunity to support the planning and delivery of engaging recruitment events, build relationships with schools, colleges, and prospective students, and play a key role in showcasing everything Luminate’s Education Group's HE institutions Leeds Conservatoire and University Centre Leeds have to offer.
You will be joining a friendly, enthusiastic team that is passionate about delivering an outstanding experience for students, visitors, and stakeholders. Working across on-campus, online, and external events, you will help coordinate a wide range of activities, including Open Days, Offer Holder Days, school taster sessions, workshops, careers fairs, and exhibitions.

6 months fixed term contract.
What You Will Do
- Work closely as part of a busy team to ensure that applicants, key influencers and colleagues receive a high-quality level of customer service.
- Support the maintenance and development of relationships with external stakeholders (such as feeder schools, colleges and groups) to support applications to Luminate’s HE institutions.
- Work collaboratively with admissions, digital, and marketing teams to promote recruitment events and deliver an excellent visitor experience.
- Recruit, train, and support Student Ambassadors to deliver a range of recruitment and engagement activities.
- Respond to enquiries, maintain accurate CRM records, and monitor recruitment activities to help inform future strategies and improvements.
About You
- GCSE grade 4/C (or equivalent) in English Maths
- Has experience in event coordination, administration, or delivering excellent customer service.
- Is organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks while responding to changing priorities.
- Has strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Is confident using IT systems and standard Microsoft Office applications.
