We are looking for: An enthusiastic, organised individual to join our Challenge Events Team as a Fixed Term Events Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to support WellChild’s expanding challenge events programme, with a particular focus on the London Marathon 2027. You will provide administrative, operational and supporter care support to participants from registration through to event day, helping them maximise their fundraising and enjoy an excellent experience while supporting WellChild. The successful candidate will have strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to build positive relationships with supporters, volunteers and colleagues. Experience in an administrative role is essential; experience of CRM systems, fundraising or the charity sector would be an advantage.

You will do:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and practical support to the Challenge Events Team, primarily for the London Marathon 2027.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for challenge event participants, you will process applications, maintain accurate supporter records, coordinate communications and support fundraising activity.
  • Help plan and deliver WellChild’s presence at the London Marathon Running Show and marathon event weekend, supporting event logistics and helping create a memorable experience for participants and supporters.
  • Be onsite in London from the 19th – 26th April 2027.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
