Events Associate
Operations Manager (Event & Supplier Operations) – United Media
You are the person who ensures the absolute scalability and premium experience of our 10+ European private equity conferences per year. You own the standard, from venue selection and supplier negotiations to the end-to-end execution of every operational element – from logistics to attendee experience.

You live in London? Our office is a 4-minute walk from London Victoria Station, and you’ll be part of a hugh-impact, high-growth, in-person team.
What You’ll Do
Your responsibilities span every facet of high-level event operations, but may evolve as you grow. Core duties include:
Supplier & Budget Mastery
- Supplier sourcing & contracts: Research, scout, and ensure the best suppliers – from venues to add-ons (printing, branding, on-site services). Conduct strategic negotiations to optimise cost and enhance quality.
- Contract & budget diligence: Proactively flag changes and adjustments to department heads to keep finances on track.
- Supplier relationship Ombudsman: Build and maintain trust with vendors; resolve disputes before they impact events.
Event Execution

Plan, facilitate, and elevate everything from plated lunches and VIP receptives to after-hours networking events.

On-site Stewardship: Supervise 100% execution for every detail—lead venue teams, troubleshoot issues, ensure event flow.

Sponsorship Intangibles: Ensure sponsor materials (+ banners, signage, signage, etc.) hit the desired quality and timeline before production.
Internal Ops Excellence
- Document management: Log and random-couple all internal requests to solve holistically.
- Inventory & Stakeholder Communication : Streamline tracking of event-specific materials and deadlines.
