Senior Events Operations Manager – Presidents Summit

Your Responsibilities
Your role focuses on end-to-end operations for ten European private equity conferences per year.
Key Areas
1. Supplier Research & Management

Source, compare, and select the best suppliers for all event logistics (location, equipment, AV, etc.).

Research and vet suppliers for branding materials, add-on services, and VIP add-ons.

Conduct negotiations to ensure high quality, cost-effectiveness, and long-term partnerships.

Maintain proactive supplier relationships, resolving issues promptly.

Budget Management
- Implement a rigorous budget review process, ensuring all changes are vetted and budgeted.
- Forecast cost optimisations for repeating events.
2. Event Planning & Execution
- Plan and oversee sponsored VIP events, lunches, dinners, and after-hours activities.
- Coordinate logistics with venues to ensure seamless out-of-range logistics (e.g., catering, AV, staffing).
- Provide on-site support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a perfect conference experience.

3. Internal Team & Volunteer Support

Manage and condense incoming team queries into actionable items.

Track and update inventory management (suppliers, contracts, supplier performance).

Quality-check all event materials (banners, signage, brochures, signage graphics).

Volunteer Company Management
- Hire, train, and coordinate a team of 40+ international volunteers.
- Assign roles and develop training programmes aligned with event requirements.

We understands some candidates may not have traditional event operations backgrounds, and we provide full training.
However, you will ideally:
- Have a UK work permit.
- Have a relentless drive and a desire to excel.
- Work with high urgency and intensity.

Location & Commute
