Events, Awards and Partnerships Manager

Events, Awards & Partnerships Manager Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office) Salary: £43,000–£47,000 plus excellent benefits

A respected UK healthcare membership organisation is seeking an experienced Events, Awards & Partnerships Manager to lead the delivery of a high-profile portfolio of conferences, educational events, awards programmes and strategic partnerships.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented events professional who enjoys working with:

  • Senior stakeholders
  • Committees
  • Industry partners

delivering impactful programmes that support:

  • Professional development
  • Knowledge sharing
  • Excellence across the healthcare sector

We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with experience in:

  • Membership organisations
  • Professional bodies & associations
  • Royal Colleges
  • Healthcare charities
  • NHS organisations
  • Medical & scientific societies
  • Healthcare, pharmaceutical, or hospital sectors

Experience managing:

  • Conferences
  • Awards programmes
  • Sponsorship & partnership activity

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Education & Governance, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio including:

  • Planning and delivering:
    • Conferences
    • Educational events
    • Webinars
    • Training programmes
  • Managing:
    • Awards
    • Fellowships
    • Recognition programmes
  • Collaborating with:
    • Committees
    • Senior healthcare professionals
  • Tasks involving:
    • Budget management
    • Financial reporting
  • Developing strategies for:
    • Sponsor & partner relationships
    • Sponsorship and partnership income growth
  • Coordination of:
    • Suppliers
    • Venues
    • External event partners
  • Supporting new initiatives in:
    • Education & engagement
  • Evaluating programme effectiveness and identifying growth opportunities.

Requirements

Essential

  • Proven ability to deliver successful conferences, events, or educational programmes
  • Experience in managing multiple projects & stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong proficiency in budget management & financial reporting
  • Expertise in sponsorship, partnership, or commercial relationship development
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building & organisational skills
  • Capability to effectively collaborate with:
    • Committees
    • Volunteers
    • Senior stakeholders

Highly Desirable

  • Experience in membership organisations or professional associations
  • Relevant background in healthcare, medical, scientific, NHS, or hospital sectors
  • Prior administration of awards programmes or recognition schemes
  • Knowledge of sponsorship sales, exhibition management, or partnership development
  • Familiarity with:
    • CRM
    • Event management systems
