We're delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our long-term client, the Healthcare Infection Society (HIS), a respected membership organisation dedicated to advancing the prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections.
They are looking for an experienced Events, Awards & Partnerships Manager to lead the planning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of conferences, educational events, webinars, awards programmes and partnership activities. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, relationship-focused events professional who enjoys managing projects from concept to completion while working with senior stakeholders, committees, sponsors and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing the delivery of major in-person and virtual events, including conferences, webinars and training programmes.
- Developing event programmes and coordinating speakers, venues, suppliers and conference organisers.
- Managing the Society's awards programme and supporting committee activity.
- Building and maintaining corporate partnerships and helping to grow sponsorship and exhibition income.
- Monitoring budgets, reporting on event performance and identifying opportunities to enhance future programmes.
Requirements
To be successful, you'll have proven experience delivering complex events, excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills, and experience managing budgets. You'll also be confident building partnerships and juggling multiple priorities in a collaborative environment. Experience within a membership organisation, healthcare or scientific setting would be advantageous but is not essential.
