About Carve
Carve trains executive assistants to work with AI – not just to use tools, but to fundamentally change how they operate.
Executive assistants are too often underestimated and undervalued. Carve exists to change that – to raise the ceiling on the profession. When EAs use AI to strip away the transactional, they create space to step up as true strategic partners – and their execs show up better too. AI is the lever, but the mission is so much bigger than just efficiency.
Founded in 2023, Carve launched the world's first AI course built specifically for EAs. Since then, our Founder has become a leading voice globally on how AI is reshaping the profession, speaking at conferences and corporate events around the world. Our flagship cohort program sells out consistently, our NPS is +100, and our corporate clients include some of the world's best-known companies – Google, eBay, Skyscanner and more. We've trained thousands of EAs globally – and we're just getting started.
We're now at an inflection point. We've doubled in size every year since launch, demand is outpacing capacity, and we're building a whole suite of new programs – more events, a growing community, and more ways for EAs to learn with us. We need someone brilliant to own the engine behind all of it. This isn't a role with a ceiling.
This is our first full-time hire. You'll work directly alongside the Founder, shaping how Carve shows up for its community.
The role
You'll own three areas:
- Events and community: This is the heart of the role. Carve runs a growing calendar of live events – webinars, workshops, cohort sessions, community sessions – and that calendar is only getting busier (think several webinars a month, plus everything around our flagship cohorts). You'll own these end to end: planning, scheduling, setting up the tech, briefing speakers and facilitators, running them live, and making sure every single one feels polished and on-brand. You take pride in the detail because our reputation lives in these moments.
- Course operations and delivery: You'll make sure every cohort and training session runs smoothly from enrolment to completion. That means managing registrations, setting up sessions, posting course content and recordings, handling learner communications, tracking attendance and links, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll take pride in the learner experience being seamless – because our reputation depends on it.
- Community management: You'll own our community spaces – Slack, fortnightly newsletters, alum touchpoints – keeping them active, warm and valuable. As our community grows, you'll also bring in and coordinate peer community managers, briefing them and making sure the experience stays consistent. You won't just do the community work.. you'll orchestrate it.

This role will change: We're being upfront: we can't tell you precisely what this role looks like in 6, 12 or 18 months. The business is moving fast, and the shape of this role will move with it. Marketing support is one likely direction it could grow, but there will be others we haven't thought of yet. If that uncertainty excites you, you'll thrive here. If you need a fixed, predictable remit to feel comfortable, this isn't the right fit.
What we're looking for
You're AI-native. Carve's whole mission is helping EAs become AI-native, so the person running our events and community needs to be living it too. That doesn't mean you've been doing this for years – it means AI is already your default. You're a builder, you're always trying the newest tools and you're genuinely excited by what's becoming possible.
You're a builder, not a maintainer. We don't have polished processes waiting for you to follow. You'll need to figure things out, create systems and improve them as you go. If you need a detailed handbook to get started, this definitely isn't the right fit. If you get a kick out of making order from chaos, keep reading.
You're organised and precise, but you move fast. You know the difference between "good enough to ship" and "needs to be perfect" and you get the balance right.
You communicate clearly and warmly. You'll be talking to our learners, speakers, facilitators, and community every day – so you need to be confident and professional in both written and verbal communication.
You're autonomous. You'll get direction and context, but you won't get micromanaged. You need to be comfortable owning your workload, flagging problems early and making sensible decisions without waiting for permission.
You care deeply. Carve isn't out to sell training – we're here to change how an entire profession is seen and valued, and to genuinely improve people's working lives. It's an ambitious mission, and we need someone who feels it in their gut.
About you
We're not fixated on years of experience – what matters is that you've worked in a fast-paced or startup type environment and you've demonstrated that you can run things independently.
And what's even more important to us is your mindset: curious, proactive, resourceful, takes pride in doing things well.
Must have:
- Experience running events – webinars, workshops, conferences, or similar – where the details were yours to own
- 2-5 years in events, operations, community, project coordination, or a similar role with minimum 2 years experience planning and delivering events
- Genuinely AI-native: you use AI tools daily and instinctively, and you're always trying new ones
- Experience working in a small team or fast-moving environment where you wore multiple hats
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities
- Based in London or able to commute for one in-person day per week

Nice to have:
- Able to host a room, introducing speakers and events
- Experience with Zapier or similar automation tools
- Familiarity with CRMs (we use Attio)
- Experience in corporate L&D
- Experience managing or coordinating freelancers/contractors
- Newsletter, content or marketing experience

- £32,000-40,000 salary depending on experience, plus performance-based bonus

- We're an early-stage startup, so we won't pretend we have a long list of perks yet. What we can promise is interesting work and real support in your development. The perks will come – and you'll probably help shape them :)
- Hybrid working: 1 day per week together in London, the rest remote

Our process:
- 30-minute introductory call
- A practical task (timed, classroom conditions, approximately one hour) – we want to see how you think and work as this is the most equitable way to judge how you’d perform on the job
- Interview with the Founder
- For shortlisted candidates, a final conversation with one of Carve's advisors may be included alongside reference checks
