Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and professional Events Coordinator to join our team based at an investment company in the city. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality services to clients, working closely with colleagues across investment management, financial planning, and operational teams.

This position is ideally suited to an individual who is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, client service, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to investment management, financial planning, and operational teams to ensure the smooth delivery of client services.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and client engagements, including scheduling, logistics, room bookings, and resource management.
  • Manage team calendars and ensure effective coordination of internal and external meetings.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and third-party service providers to support day-to-day operations.
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute documentation, reports, and correspondence accurately and efficiently.
  • Support the organisation and delivery of client and corporate events.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure information is managed in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist with operational processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders while upholding company values and standards.

Hours

  • 40 hours per week with shifts from Mon-Fri. Varying shifts between 7.30am and 10:30pm.

Salary

  • £34,000

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in an events coordination and administrative office support role, ideally within a corporate or hotel environment.
  • Experience supporting meetings and events, including scheduling, logistics, and resource coordination.
  • Experience managing calendars, booking meeting rooms, and coordinating facilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience using office management, administration, or event coordination systems.
  • Proven ability to liaise effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A professional and discreet approach when handling confidential information.
  • A proactive, positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
