Collaboration and knowledge-sharing is important to us as a firm, and we value different ways of working. Employees are required to be in the office three days a week, with flexibility to work from home on the other two days.
Role Overview
This part-time Events Coordinator will be responsible for events for corporate (i.e. all employee offsite), investment management and distribution and Brooks Financial. These events may be Brooks Macdonald/Brooks Financial led but in many cases the events are with third parties requiring liaising with the event organisers as well as internal teams. This role also has responsibility for ensuring that materials such as banners, collateral and merchandise arrive at these events. This role may also require on-site attendance to ensure smooth delivery of the event.
Role Responsibilities
- Proactively manage the events calendar for corporate, investment management/distribution and Brooks Financial.
- Determine if the event is with BM/BF or third party led. And ensure resources are allocated accordingly.
- Liaise with venues regarding bookings and menus.
- Ensure merchandise, collateral and banners are in stock and distributed in good time to venues.
- Attend venues when required to ensure smooth delivery of the event.
- Perform role always ensuring adherence to the expected behaviours stated in the FCA Conduct Rules regarding events.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to operate independently while working as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms (e.g., intranet, email marketing software).
- Demonstrable project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
- 2-3 years in a similar role within a FTSE organisation.
