Events Coordinator (Part-Time)
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Events Coordinator, passionate about events and supporting our cause. You will lead a small team of volunteers to develop a range of events, both in the UK and internationally, to generate income, raise awareness and engage supporters.

What We’re Looking For
We need a self-driven individual with:
- A true passion for connecting diverse communities around social justice and global citizenship
- A deep understanding of Team Kenya’s work in addressing social and gender inequalities
- Experience in events management, project management, and team leadership
- Strong communication, organisational skills, and expertise in team building
- Ability to design and deliver varied community-focused events that inspire action

Contract: Hybrid
Core Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Develop a comprehensive events strategy to align with organisation goals
- Lead a team of volunteers to plan, design and deliver events aimed at:
- Recruiting new supporters
- Expanding our reach
- Engaging communities in global citizenship
- Generating funds
- Recruit, manage, and mentor volunteers to support event logistics and delivery
- Ensure high coordination levels throughout the entire event lifecycle
