Responsible to

Head of Philanthropy

Working Hours

9am to 5pm – Monday to Friday

Salary

Circa £27,000, depending on experience (1 FTE)

Fixed Term Contract

3rd August to 18th December 2026

Workplace

Hybrid working, with a mix of in London office (up to three days) and at home working

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Be highly organised with excellent administrative skills.
  • Have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Be confident working with Excel and databases.
  • Be self-motivated and able to work independently from home.
  • Be efficient, reliable and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be polite, personable and charming when liaising with supporters, donors and colleagues.
  • Be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude.

Essential Experience

  • Experience of providing exemplary administrative support and maintaining effective administrative systems and procedures.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, the Events & Database Administrator is a temporary position for the provision of administrative and data management support, for the delivery of three flagship fundraising events, while maintaining the accuracy of our fundraising database.

Key Responsibilities

Database Administration

  • Creating and maintaining raffle, silent and live auction prize lists.
  • Chasing donors and contacts for missing information relating to auction prizes.
  • Assisting with event administration and ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
  • Supporting the team with general event preparation and coordination as required.

Event Support

  • Golf Day – Thursday 1st October 2025 at Sunningdale Golf Club, Surrey
  • Borne to Dance Gala Dinner – Thursday, 17th November 2026 at the V&A Museum, South Kensington, London
  • Borne at Christmas Carol Concert – Thursday, 10th December 2026 at St Luke’s Church, Sydney Street, London
