Events Executive
Job Summary
Copeland Distillery is looking for a driven, highly organised Events Executive to own the planning and delivery of its events programme across the UK, Ireland, and international markets.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the full events lifecycle—from administration, licensing, and logistics through to on-the-ground delivery. They will manage casual event staff, coordinate internal tastings, and support the sales team with private tastings, all while maintaining the high standards expected of a premium spirits brand.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Delivery
- Own the end-to-end delivery of all Copeland events
- Manage event logistics, including:
- Venue sourcing
- Supplier coordination
- Budgets
- Risk assessments
- Timelines
- Ensure every event reflects the Copeland brand’s high quality and positioning
Stock & Merchandise Management
- Manage product, POS, and merchandise inventory for events, ensuring:
- Correct stock levels are planned, packed, and accounted for
- Product availability is coordinated with internal teams
- Merchandise range is well-presented, replenished, and tracked

Reporting & Performance
- Produce accurate post-event reports, including:
- Commercial performance
- Footfall
- Leads generated
- Stock reconciliation
- Key takeaways
- Track KPIs across events and use insights to improve delivery and ROI
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing team to align events with brand strategy and support wider awareness
- Coordinate with sales, production, and operations for smooth communication and training
- Proactively source new market opportunities, including trade shows, festivals, and brand activations (domestic & international)
- Represent Copeland professionally at all external events as a brand ambassador
Marketing
- Uphold the Copeland brand in every touchpoint:
- Event design & execution
- Brand communication
- Develop event content, collateral, and on-site brand presence, collaborating with marketing
- Contribute to broader brand awareness through strategic event activity

Person Specification
Essential
✅ Proven events management experience, ideally within a premium or lifestyle brand ✅ Strong project management and organisational skills ✅ Commercial awareness with a results-driven mindset ✅ Proactive, self-starting attitude with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and international travel ✅ Full driving licence and valid passport
Desirable
✈ Experience in drinks, hospitality, or premium consumer goods sectors 💻 Familiarity with CRM platforms, inventory management, or event management tools
