Do you enjoy practical work, being part of a team, and seeing incredible events come to life?

At Epic Event Hire, we transform empty spaces into unforgettable weddings, parties, corporate events and celebrations across East Anglia. We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Events Installer to join our growing team and help create amazing experiences for our clients.

If you enjoy being active, working with your hands and taking pride in a job well done, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

  • Delivering and collecting event equipment
  • Loading and unloading company vehicles
  • Installing event decor, draping, lighting and AV/PA equipment
  • Following layout plans and installation instructions
  • Working at a variety of venues across East Anglia
  • Assisting with event setup and pack down
  • Helping maintain our high standards of presentation and customer service
  • Working safely and efficiently as part of a team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The reality of event work:

This is not a Monday-Friday office job. Events happen when people celebrate, which means evening, weekend and peak-season working is a key part of the role. Our busiest period is from spring through to early autumn, particularly during the wedding and events season. Successful applicants must be able to commit to working weekends and peak event dates when demand is at its highest.
