Eight Financial Advice is a UK-based wealth management and financial advice firm, offering tailored guidance across investments, pensions, tax planning, and related financial services. Our work is built around helping clients make confident financial decisions with support that is personal, practical, and trusted.

As Events Lead, you will play an important role within the marketing team, helping to deliver events that support client engagement and strengthen the firm's presence. This role is well suited to someone thrives on owning event management and the day itself. Being able to think quickly on your feet and create a fantastic experience is key

Responsibilities:

Event Execution & Delivery:

Attend and actively contribute to internal planning and operational meetings to ensure seamless event delivery Execute all EIGHT events to a consistently high standard, following agreed event strategies and plans Manage all event logistics including venues, suppliers, equipment, timings, and on-the-day coordination

Guest Experience & Registration Management:

Ensure guests receive clear, timely, and professional communications before and after events, including: a) Event logistics b) Joining instructions c) Follow-up communications Manage guest registration, attendance tracking, and confirmations across all events Ensure guests feel welcomed, informed, and well looked after at all times

Event Communications (Pre & Post):

Inform New Enquiries Manager of upcoming events Coordinate and send event-related email communications in line with agreed timelines and messaging Support post-event follow-up communications as directed, ensuring a professional close to each event Collaborate and handover all lead and prospect event attendees to New Enquiries Manager. Providing full details and feedback they will need to begin pipeline management

Social Content Capture & Scheduling (Events):

Capture high-quality social media content at events, including photos and short-form video Schedule approved event-related content across social channels in line with brand guidelines Ensure all content reflects the EIGHT brand and the tone of the event as approved by Brand & Marketing Specialist

Must be comfortable driving or independently reaching event locations as required Must be confident attending and contributing to planning and operational meetings Must be comfortable leading on-site delivery and acting as the primary point of contact during events Experience coordinating with colleagues, venue teams, and external suppliers Eligible to work in the UK
