What is the role responsible for?

Gamma is looking for an Events Manager to manage the operational delivery of Gamma’s events. This role keeps all event activity moving, ensuring critical tasks are completed on time and to a high standard. The Events Manager will be responsible for event operations including venue sourcing, exhibitor manual management, stand build coordination, event sponsorship programme, diary management, hotels, catering, couriers, event stock management and asset logistics, and on-the-day event delivery.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

Here are a few examples of what you could be involved with:

  • Manage Gamma’s event calendar, event itinerary and all required briefings
  • Work with suppliers, including venues, couriers and caterers
  • Own and manage exhibitor manuals for exhibitions including bespoke stand builds
  • Coordinate Gamma's event sponsorship programme, including sponsorship administration and liaison
  • Own and manage Gamma's event inventory, including exhibition assets, promotional materials, merchandise and event kit, coordinating stock levels, storage, distribution, shipment, tracking and return of materials to support all events
  • Work closely with the wider marketing and sales teams to support appropriate pre-event marketing activity
  • Manage event delivery on the day being main point of contact

What you’ll bring

You don’t need experience in everything listed—but we’re especially keen to hear from people with some of the following skills:

  • Experience working within event management and managing an event calendar
  • Experience in event preparation, providing updates on event status, deadlines and requirements.
  • Working knowledge of budgeting and cost tracking, with confidence using digital tools for scheduling, project management, and reporting
  • Strong organisational skills across both planning and delivery
  • Comfortable working with tight deadlines and with changing requirements
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills
  • A helpful, positive team player with a flexible and collaborative approach
