Events Manager
Operations Manager – Conference Execution (Private Equity)
You will own the operational standard for every conference we run, overseeing the end-to-end execution of 10 European private equity conferences annually—covering venues, suppliers, on-site teams, and attendee experience.

Your Key Responsibilities
This role is dynamic, blending operational oversight with hands-on execution. Your typical responsibilities will include:
Supplier Research & Management
- Source, compare, and select the best suppliers for event logistics, branded materials, and add-ons.
- Conduct detailed supplier negotiations to secure competitive rates and premium service quality.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships—proactively resolving any issues while ensuring cost efficiency.
- Manage budgets—flagging variances and adjustments well in advance.
Event Execution
- Plan and coordinate VIP events, corporate lunches, dinners, and after-hours activities as part of sponsored conferences.
- Logistics coordination with venues—ensuring spaces, equipment, and staff align exactly with in-person events.
- Provide on-site support—leading day-of operations to guarantee seamless execution.
Internal Support
- Streamline requests – Consolidate internal team queries efficiently.
- Inventory management – Track materials and equipment, updating schedules and usage logs in real time.
- Quality-check design assets (banners, signage, brochures) before mass distribution.
On-Site Volunteer Leadership
- Hire, train, and manage a 40-person on-site volunteer team, ensuring execution aligns with our standards.

Your Start Date & Location
