Help us plan and deliver an upcoming event, a speaker session, panel, open day or graduation.

You'll support planning checklists, manage attendee lists, help on the day, and draft follow-up communications. Ideal for someone experienced in events or logistics.

What difference will you make?

Our events are often the most visible and meaningful touchpoints we have with students, families, supporters and partners. They take real planning to pull off well, and as a small charity, event logistics can easily eat up time our team needs for programme delivery and strategy.

An Events Manager would take ownership of the practical planning and on-the-day coordination. A smooth, well-organised event experience helps build trust, while thoughtful follow-up communications help us convert event attendance into longer-term engagement, whether that's future applications, donations or partnerships.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone with experience in events, community, or operations roles, who's organised, calm under pressure, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts at once. Experience running or supporting in-person or hybrid events is important.

We'd value someone who's a confident communicator, comfortable liaising with guests, speakers or venue contacts, and who can draft clear, professional follow-up communications. A proactive, can-do attitude matters here, as events often require quick problem-solving on the day.

Experience working with charities, education organisations or youth-focused events is a bonus but not essential.

What will you be doing?

We're looking for an Events Manager to support the planning and delivery of an upcoming event, such as a speaker event, panel discussion, open day or graduation ceremony. You'll help build and work through planning checklists, making sure key tasks and deadlines are tracked in the run-up to the event.

You'll manage attendee lists using a spreadsheet, keeping track of RSVPs, numbers and any special requirements. On the day itself, you'll provide hands-on support, this could include running the registration desk, coordinating guests, or helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. Afterwards, you'll help draft post-event follow-up emails to attendees, speakers or partners, and support with logistics like room set-up and wind-down.
