Events Marketing Manager
£40,000 - £45,000 Base + Bonus Hybrid – London
About the Company
Leading media events business seeks a highly accomplished Events Marketing Manager to join their fast-growing events team working across a portfolio of high-growth b2b events.
As Marketing Manager, you will have full responsibility for creating and executing innovative, international marketing plans, deploying both online and offline direct marketing tactics.
You will focus on demand generation, driving leads along the sales funnel and collaborating with the Marketing Director, Managing Director and Delegates Sales team to ensure alignment with key areas of attendee marketing across the industry. Opportunity exists to manage junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute targeted attendee marketing strategies with a goal to drive scale in premium and free visitor registrations while delivering attentive participation for the show
- Establish strong working relationships with exhibitor clients to shape and extend marketing campaigns
- Build mutually beneficial partnerships with associations and publications to boost visitor attendance
- Employ full online marketing channels—social media, SEO, and PPC) for demand capture
- Kill two birds with one stone by advancing customer advocacy with tailored marketing communications strategies whilst staying aligned with the commercial demands
- Prepare promotional copy and collateral for internal and external team/client use
- Hit profit targets and meet registration numbers, all while managing the event marketing budget efficiently

Profile of Experience
- 2+ years of experience in event marketing is preferred, ideally gained within the industry’s exhibition sector
- Proven commercial acumen—driven by lead generation and footfall conversion with quantifiable ROI
- Minimum digital marketing know-how including (SEO & SEM, social media strategies)
- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively orally and in writing
- Naturally creative, analytical, detail-oriented and problem-solving
- Thrives independently under tight deadlines but autonomously produces impactful results
- Self-driven, result-oriented, with a forward-thinking approach
