Events Marketing Manager - Profitable Series B SaaS
I'm working with one of the UK's fastest-growing B2B SaaS businesses that's scaling internationally and entering a hugely exciting stage of growth. Marketing has become one of the company's biggest commercial growth engines, and this role sits right at the centre of that.
Why Now?
The business has invested heavily over the last couple of years, building a specialist marketing team capable of supporting its next phase of growth. Now they're looking for someone to take ownership of a well-established global events programme and shape what it becomes over the next few years.
There's already real momentum. Around 50 events run annually across Europe and North America, but there's still plenty of opportunity to influence strategy, launch new initiatives, expand virtual events and raise the commercial impact even further.
If you enjoy building rather than simply maintaining, this is the kind of role that doesn't come along very often.
The Role
This is a genuinely commercial Events Marketing role. You'll lead one Events Executive while partnering daily with Sales, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Customer Success and Content to deliver programmes that directly support commercial growth.
You'll own a global programme spanning Europe and North America across conferences, executive dinners, hosted events, customer experiences, webinars and the company's flagship conference series.
Success isn't measured by how smoothly an event runs. It's measured by the conversations created, the opportunities generated, the relationships strengthened and the pipeline influenced.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You'll own the strategy behind every event as much as the execution, deciding where the business invests, how events align with target accounts, how Sales are enabled before each event and how commercial success is measured afterwards.
What You'll Be Doing Day to Day
- Own a global events programme spanning around 50 events each year across Europe and North America.
- Build an events strategy that supports pipeline creation, opportunity acceleration and customer growth.
- Deliver flagship customer conferences from venue selection through to agenda development, speaker management and attendee experience.
- Create compelling event themes, presentations, content and speaker briefs that encourage attendance and engagement.
- Partner with Sales to identify target accounts, drive attendance and maximise commercial outcomes before, during and after every event.
- Develop a scalable virtual events programme to complement the physical events calendar.
- Analyse pipeline creation, influenced revenue, ROI and event performance to continuously improve future programmes.
- Manage agencies, suppliers, venues and budgets while maintaining consistently high standards.
- Lead and develop an Events Executive, helping build a scalable global events function.
- Collaborate with multiple commercial teams to ensure every event supports wider business objectives.
This Role Will Suit You If...
- You already think about events as a commercial growth channel rather than purely an operational function.
- You enjoy owning programmes from strategy through to execution.
- You naturally partner with Sales and like seeing the commercial outcomes of your work.
- You thrive juggling multiple high-profile projects without losing attention to detail.
- You enjoy representing your business externally and building relationships with senior stakeholders and customers.
- You want the autonomy to influence how an international events programme evolves rather than simply delivering someone else's plan.

This Role Probably Isn't For You If...
- You prefer focusing purely on logistics rather than commercial outcomes.
- Most of your events experience has been hospitality, internal events or exhibition management without marketing ownership.
- You prefer highly structured environments where every process is already established.
- You'd rather specialise in a single marketing channel than own an entire events programme.
- You don't enjoy working closely with Sales or being accountable for commercial performance.
- You prefer roles with limited stakeholder management and fewer moving parts.
It's rare to come across an Events Marketing role where events genuinely sit at the centre of commercial strategy rather than being treated as a supporting activity. If you're looking for broader ownership, greater commercial influence and the chance to shape how a global events programme evolves over the coming years, I'd love to tell you more.
