Purpose of the Role
The Event Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning and delivering Reveal’s international programme of events and webinars, with a clear focus on generating new leads and strengthening relationships with prospects and customers against agreed KPIs.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing and Senior Demand Generation Manager, this role owns the end-to-end delivery of Reveal’s webinar and international event calendar, aligned to commercial objectives and target markets. This includes full project management from attendance logistics, branding to content delivery, briefing to reporting.
As a guideline, the Event Marketing Specialist can expect to manage:
- 20 physical events
- 5 webinars annually
This role plays a critical part in supporting Reveal’s mission to deliver trusted, high-quality solutions that make the world safer.
Key Responsibilities
The following outlines the principal responsibilities of the role – non-exhaustive and subject to updates, provided alignment with its overall purpose.
Event Strategy, Planning & Budget Management
- Contribute to the global event calendar, supporting a mix of demand generation, brand, and customer-focused events across priority markets.
- Support budget planning, forecasting, and ongoing event financial management, ensuring spend optimises aligned to plans.
- Collaborate on quarterly and annual integrated marketing plans for target regions/verticals, ensuring events align with broader marketing objectives.
Event Delivery & Project Management
- Project manage end-to-end execution of virtual and physical events, including webinars, trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, customer user groups, and other innovative formats – meeting KPIs and quality standards.
- Coordinate day-to-day event logistics, timelines, and dependencies, liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers for seamless delivery.
- Confidently plan and run webinars and virtual events using platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, ensuring a professional and engaging attendee experience.

Audience Generation & Campaign Execution
- Align with the Senior Demand Generation Manager to drive target audiences to events, optimising channels for success.
- Execute event marketing activities, briefing internal teams/agencies/suppliers as required.
- Apply learnings from past events to continually improve audience performance against KPIs (e.g., registrations, attendance, stand visitors, meetings pre-arranged).
Sales, Customer & Partner Engagement
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to execute account engagement strategies via events, supporting pipeline generation and acceleration.
- Proactively engage Sales teams to coordinate, communicate, or optimise event impact.
- Professionally represent Reveal across customer, partner and sponsor interactions regarding planning/promotion/delivery.
Vendor & Partner Marketing Management
- Evaluate, select, and manage vendors (e.g., event organisers, suppliers, agencies, media partners) for demand creation programmes.
- Support partner marketing, e.g., for co-hosted/sponsored events, while commercial negotiations remain outside the role’s scope.
- Ensure vendors deliver to agreed timelines, expectations, and quality standards.
Measurement, Reporting & Optimisation
- Monitor and report on event performance (per-campaign) using Salesforce and other tools, tracking KPI results.
- Analyse event outcomes to inform future selection, planning, and optimisation, sharing insights with stakeholders.
Market Awareness
- Stay ahead of industry trends and developments in event marketing to maximise global event opportunities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential
- 3+ years experience running international event marketing programmes, including webinars/physical events across diverse regions.
- Evidence generated audiences for global events/webinars.
- Fluentчный working with international vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on webinar experience (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Ability to manage/forecast/track event budgets against plans.
- Self-starter with project/time management skills, confident to handle multiple priorities with maturity and ownership.
- Adaptable, growth-minded, and comfortable in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Exceptional communicator with emotional intelligence, building trust and making measured judgments.
- Quality-focused, meticulous attention to detail for turning objectives into high-standard outputs.

Desirable
- Degree or professional qualification in marketing, digital marketing, or business-related fields.
- Knowledge of Salesforce (event reporting/pipeline), or Pardot (or comparable tools).
- Formal project management certification (e.g., PRINCE², PMP).
