This is a fixed-term opportunity to cover a period of maternity leave within the Events team. The role offers meaningful exposure to a fast-paced, global events function at Rolls-Royce, one of the world’s most iconic engineering companies, with the potential to make a real impact from day one.

The Events Officer plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality events across Rolls-Royce. Working within the Group Communications team, the Officer supports the end-to-end execution of external and internal events, helping to shape the company’s corporate narrative with impact, efficiency, and excellence.

Ideal for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and passionate about creating exceptional event experiences, this role offers the chance to:

  • Work across diverse business divisions

  • Develop a broad understanding of strategic communications in a global organisation

Role Purpose

The Events Officer will coordinate and support all stages of external and internal events, ensuring seamless delivery that aligns with Rolls-Royce’s brand, strategic objectives, and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities

Support Event Planning and Delivery

  • Provide hands-on coordination from start to finish: logistics planning, venue management, supplier liaison, and on-site execution.
  • Manage event budgets — track expenditure, raise purchase orders on time, and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Maintain and update the central events calendar to facilitate prioritisation and efficient multi-event planning.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver seamless event executions.

Delegate and Stakeholder Experience

  • Serve as the key point of contact for delegates and internal stakeholders, resolving queries professionally and promptly.
  • Support the preparation of leaders and speakers, ensuring alignment with Communications Business Partners on key messaging.
  • Champion the delegate experience at every interaction, reflecting Rolls-Royce’s values and high professional standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
