Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is located next to Blackfriars Station in the heart of the City of London, within walking distance of St Paul’s Cathedral, Tate Modern and the South Bank. This Grade II listed five-star hotel stands on the historic site of King Henry VIII’s Bridewell Palace and features 205 stylish guestrooms and suites along with versatile meeting and event spaces. Duties and responsibilities related to the Events Planning Coordinator role
- Manage the full event planning process from initial enquiry through to post-event follow-up.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships.
- Prepare and manage Event Confirmations, contracts, amendments, and event documentation.
- Coordinate closely with operational teams to ensure all event requirements and guest expectations are met.
- Conduct site inspections and create professional event proposals and presentations for clients.
- Identify and maximise upselling opportunities to enhance client experiences and drive revenue.
- Manage event billing, deposits, and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely administration.
- Gather client feedback after events and nurture relationships to generate repeat and future business.

About You
You are an organised and customer-focused professional with experience coordinating events or hospitality services. You have excellent communication skills and enjoy building relationships with clients and colleagues. Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, you maintain exceptional attention to detail and consistently deliver high standards of service. You are proactive, commercially minded, and passionate about creating memorable event experiences.
