Event Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Event Supervisor to join our vibrant team.
About the Role
As Events Supervisor, you will work closely with other departments to manage logistics, support client needs, and enhance the overall guest experience. If you are ready to take the lead in shaping memorable events and driving operational excellence, we would love to hear from you.
You will be joining a dynamic and collaborative team of 16 professionals, including members of the Events Team and Corporate Support Staff. Together, the team oversees all operational activity across both the Ground Floor and Client Floors, and two other buildings, ensuring seamless event delivery and an exceptional guest experience.
Job Details
Type of contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday; on a shift rota basis between 7 AM – 7 PM, with flexibility as per business needs)
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum

Main Responsibilities
- Oversee event planning and delivery to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with client expectations.
- Serve as the main escalation point for complex or high-profile client needs, ensuring prompt, professional resolution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support loyalty and repeat business.
- Review and approve major event proposals and logistics to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Manage incoming meeting and event requests, confirm details, allocate suitable space, and issue confirmations.
- Plan and coordinate assigned events from reservation through to billing.
- Work with bookers to confirm requirements and manage event logistics, including catering and service needs.
- Prepare daily set-up sheets with detailed instructions for Operations, AV, and F&B teams.
- Coordinate all client and host needs, managing changes or cancellations with relevant teams.
- Seek opportunities to improve service, streamline processes, and introduce innovative enhancements.
- Lead and support the events team through guidance, feedback, and regular check-ins.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor team performance and escalate concerns to the Team Leader and Reception & Events Manager.
- Ensure consistent adherence to company policies, procedures, and SOPs.

- Ideally possess experience in a similar role, managing a team.
- Have a positive, outgoing personality and be able to easily build rapport with key stakeholders.
- Be proactive, flexible and adaptable, with great attention to detail and ambition to learn and grow.
- Display excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Be computer literate, with excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with a professional telephone and email etiquette.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage own workload.
