Exam Invigilator

**Felixstowe School – Examination Invigilator`

Location: Felixstowe, Suffolk IP11 9QR Salary: £13.05 per hour | NJC Grade 2, SP4 Hours: Part-time Contract: Casual Reference: 5264


About the Role

Felixstowe School is seeking Examination Invigilators to assist the Examination Officer in managing both internal and external exams. You’ll ensure adherence to Joint Council for General Qualifications (JCQ) regulations throughout the academic year.

  • No formal qualifications are required, but educational attainment to GCSE level or equivalent is preferred.
  • Requires a disciplined approach, precise attention to detail, and conscientiousness.
  • Fluency in English is essential (elementary Irish or German gathered competency would be advantageous).

Invigilators must remain alert and focused for entire examination sessions. Detailed knowledge of exam conduct norms (provided via training) is mandatory.
