Permanent Exams Manager
37 hours per week – Term-Time Only + 2 weeks (or 52 Week Contract)
Salary: £29,728/year (Point 17 starting salary within Band I, Points 17–20)
Starting: 1st September 2026 (or as soon as possible thereafter)
About the Role
We are seeking an Exams Manager to oversee all aspects of internal and external examinations at North Leamington School. This integral role is based within our Data and Exams Team, where you will play a pivotal part in supporting students to achieve their best possible examination outcomes.
Experience in an examination environment, combined with knowledge of examination boards and procedures, is preferred but not mandatory—full training provided. You must be professional, adaptable, and deeply committed to delivering a high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities
You will be expected to:
- Coordinate internal and external examination schedules, including invigilation, marking, and results processing.
- Work closely with teaching staff, exam boards, and senior leaders to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain comprehensive records, deadlines, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Foster strong collaborative relationships with invigilators, teachers, and students.
- Adapt confidently to high-pressure situations while maintaining clarity and professionalism.
Requirements
Ideal candidates possess:
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent numeracy, literacy and IT proficiency for data management.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the school community.
- Calm, professional demeanour in fast-paced environments.
- Appreciation for workplace team dynamics and relationship-building.
