Job Structure
- Contract: Permanent, term-time plus 2 weeks (1 week in August required)
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Salary: £25,846.20 gross per annum (fte £30,084 pro rata pending award)
- Monthly gross: £2,153.85
- Working Pattern: Part-time, term-time only
Job Title: Experienced Exams Manager (SS Grade 8, Points 20-22)
About the Role
This pivotal role requires an exceptional team player with strong organisational and communication skills, paired with a meticulous approach and exceptional attention to detail. You will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of all internal and external student examinations, while also performing the following key responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of invigilators
- Ensure the effective administration, organisation, and delivery of internal and external examinations
- Work confidently across multiple systems (with a preference for experience in student records management)
- Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, including availability for one mandatory week in August to aid in result processing and publication

Requirements
- Proven experience in examinations administration within education or a relevant field
- A transparent, detail-oriented approach to all tasks
- Strong team leadership and communication skills
- Confidence in using various administrative and examination management systems
