• Support the Examinations and Assessments Manager in the effective delivery of all examination activities across the College.
• Direct and support members of the Exams Team, ensuring workloads are prioritised effectively and key deadlines are met.
• Lead on Access Arrangements and Special Considerations processes and ensure compliance with JCQ regulations.
• Deputise for the Examinations Manager, including during inspections, audits, and meetings with stakeholders.
• Produce and communicate examination timetables and coordinate examination processes throughout the academic year.
• Oversee the secure preparation, storage, and distribution of examination materials.
• Monitor examination regulations, policies, and procedures, ensuring full compliance with JCQ and awarding body requirements.
• Train, guide, and support exams staff and invigilators to ensure examinations are conducted effectively and consistently.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with curriculum teams, support services, students, and awarding organisations.
• Conduct compliance checks and internal audits to protect the integrity of examinations and assessment processes.
• Support MIS and enrolment activities during peak periods as required.

• Experience working within an examinations environment.
• A thorough understanding of JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements.
• Experience of Access Arrangements and Special Considerations administration.
• Experience of supervising or directing the work of others.
• Excellent organisational, administrative, and communication skills.
