Role Overview
We are looking for skilled Excavator Operators to join our groundwork teams on a busy project in Charlton. You will operate 360° tracked excavators across a variety of groundwork and drainage tasks, maintaining the highest standards of safety and plant care.
Key Responsibilities
- Digging strip foundations, trenches, and bulk excavations to drawings and levels
- Topsoil levelling, type 1/crush placement, and road formation works
- Lifting and working with trench boxes, manhole boxes, and trench sheets
- Acknowledging the need for dig permits before breaking ground
- Experienced working around live services and implementing service avoidance techniques
- Carrying out daily pre-start plant safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Conducting essential greasing and basic maintenance, keeping machines clean and tidy

Requirements
- CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Excavator (≤ 10t Tracked)
- CPCS Lifting Ops / NPORS Excavator as a Crane
- Safety Critical Medical (site specific)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with other trades
- Right to work in the UK
⭐ to comply with client requirements, only NPORS cards with the CSCS hologram are accepted
Desirable
- GPS machine control experience
- CPCS / NPORS
- Forward Tipping Dumper
- Ride-On Roller
- Telehandler
- Quick Hitch Attachment
- 5+ years of Experience
