Excavator Operator

360 Excavator Operator

Summary

We are seeking a skilled 360 Excavator Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our civil engineering projects, ensuring that excavation tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This permanent, full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to significant projects while working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate excavators and other heavy machinery to perform excavation tasks on civil engineering projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate excavation activities
  • Interpret site plans and specifications to execute excavation work accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly

Requirements (Qualifications)

  • Valid CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) card or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience operating 360 Excavators within a civil engineering environment
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Flexibility to work across multiple sites throughout Scotland
