Senior Prime Services Advisor / Transformation Consultant (Interim)
London | 12+ Month Programme of Work | £1200-£2000/Day
I'm working with a leading consulting organisation supporting a major European investment bank on a high-profile strategic transformation programme within its Prime Services business.
We're looking to engage a highly experienced industry expert with deep Prime Services expertise who can operate as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, bringing practical experience gained from leading or transforming Prime Services businesses within an investment bank.
This is not a traditional delivery role. The successful consultant will provide strategic guidance, challenge existing thinking where appropriate, and help shape the future direction of a complex Front Office business. The client is specifically seeking someone with the credibility and gravitas that comes from having "been there and done it" in a senior leadership capacity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
