Belcan Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Execution Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Execution Engineer to contribute to the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of mechanical work scopes within a complex industrial environment.
In this role, you will take ownership of work execution, ensuring all activities are delivered in line with strict safety, environmental and operational standards. You will coordinate closely with contractors and internal stakeholders to manage performance, resolve issues and drive improvements in productivity and quality.

Responsibilities
- Reviewing and validating plans and schedules
- Managing resources and materials
- Overseeing QA/QC processes
- Ensuring compliance with site procedures and cost controls
We are looking for candidates with a strong technical background and proven experience within oil & gas, engineering, or EPC contracting environments. You will bring excellent communication skills, the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, and a track record in execution, project coordination, or site-based engineering roles. This Execution Engineer position offers the chance to play a key role in maintaining operational reliability and performance.

Key Details
- Contract until December 2026 with potential extension
- Inside IR35, 37.5 hours per week, fully site-based
- Up to £35.23 per hour PAYE or £45.39 per hour Umbrella
- Experience in execution, project engineering, or site coordination roles
- Strong communication skills and full UK driving licence required
