Executive Assistant - 12 Month FTC

Senior Executive Assistant – Metro Bank

About the Role

What You Will Do

  • Provide proactive support to Executives and their wider teams to achieve our vision of Relationship Banking
  • Collaborate closely with other Executive Assistants and support teams to keep the Executive function running smoothly
  • Manage busy and complex diaries, balancing priorities and coordinating internal and external stakeholders with confidence
  • Serve as a trusted first point of contact, guiding customers and colleagues clearly to avoid delays, duplication, or misinformation
  • Handle executive enquires and support requests, ensuring the right actions are taken quickly and professionally
  • Manage weekly reporting packs, meeting documentation, travel logistics, visa applications, expenses, and events, while supporting colleagues and stakeholders effectively
  • Set a visible example as a role model for our behaviours, demonstrating professionalism in every interaction

Requirements

What You Will Need

  • Proven EA experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused, or change-driven environment
  • Strong experience supporting senior leaders, managing competing priorities, and handling confidential information
  • Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to build trusted relationships at all levels
  • Confident proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Outstanding diary management skills, with the ability to stay organised and adapt quickly as priorities change
  • Understanding of the risks associated with the role and its implications for Metro Bank, stakeholders, and policy compliance
