The Role

We are seeking an Exceptional Executive Assistant (EA) to provide strategic and operational support to Director-level leadership within a fast-paced, high-impact organisation.

This role is ideal for a highly capable EA who operates as an instinctive trusted partner, anticipating leadership needs to enable efficient decision-making and seamless execution of priorities—so Directors can focus on delivering global energy and infrastructure programmes that drive the low-carbon transition.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Executive Support: Deliver high-level support to Directors, managing complex and evolving priorities with precision.

  • Diary & Stakeholder Management: Maintain a structured strategic calendar, aligning leadership schedules with business objectives.

  • Intelligence & Documentation: Prepare high-impact briefings, reports, and presentations for critical senior meetings.

  • Leadership Coordination:

    • Facilitate cross-directorate leadership meetings and governance activities.
    • Track action points, follow-ups, and ensure accountability across leadership teams.
    • Act as a professional bridge between Directors, senior stakeholders, and external partners.

  • Confidential & Strategic Planning: Manage sensitive communications discreetly, while supporting complex projects and cross-functional initiatives.

  • Time & Communication Gatekeeping:

    • Prioritise and delegate emails and communications on behalf of Directors where needed.
    • Safeguard Directors’ focus by ensuring time is allocated to strategic priorities only.
  • Event Coordination: Organise leadership events, workshops, and offsite meetings—including travel logistics and itineraries.

  • International Engagement:

    • Support occasional UK travel for leadership meetings or events.

  • Director/Executive Level Experience: Proven track record in Executive Assistant roles supporting senior management is essential.
  • Commercial Acumen: Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong commercial awareness.
  • Organizational & Prioritization Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multi-layered workloads efficiently.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Confident communicator, adept at liaising fluently with executive leaders and diverse partners.
  • Professionalism Under Pressure: Discretion, judgment, and adaptability in fast-moving environments.
  • Tech Proficiency: Advanced familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (and any related software critical to senior roles).
