Executive Assistant
At Barnes Roffe, you’ll be more than just an Executive Assistant. You’ll be a trusted partner to senior leaders, and a key part of how our business operates day-to-day.
Working closely with Partners, you’ll gain real insight into decision-making at a senior level, with the opportunity to make a tangible impact across client service, operations, and team coordination. Your role will be varied, fast-paced, and genuinely valued.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide full administrative support in any capacity to our two Tax Partners. This includes (list is not exhaustive): diary management, arranging meetings, travel bookings, monitoring email, conference registration, and other support as required
- Monitor and manage shared inboxes (e.g. e-filing, Companies House, Adobe tax inboxes)
- Assist with financial admin (producing WIP and debtor reports, assisting with billing processes and tracking outstanding work)
- Manage arrangements for the Partner in relation to confidential matters, such as appraisals and management meetings
- Manage subscriptions, renewals, and supplier relationships
- Providing the client with polite, friendly, and professional contact through all forms of communication
- Prepare and send letters of engagement and disengagement via Adobe Sign
- Run scheduled mail merge campaigns (e.g. January/July payments, April/September/November reminders)
- Assist with client communications and document distribution

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, PA, or in a similar administrative role (professional services experience desirable)
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with accounting/tax systems (e.g. CCH, Sage, Digita) is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management tools
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proactive and solutions-focused approach
