Executive Assistant – 13 Month Maternity Cover
£50,000–£55,000 + benefits | London | Hybrid Working
A highly regarded global alternative investment firm is seeking an Executive Assistant to join its London office on a 13-month maternity cover contract.
Supporting a small group of senior leaders, this is a varied and fast-paced role within a collaborative, high-performing environment. The successful candidate will become a key member of the team, providing seamless support whilst building strong relationships across the business.
This opportunity would suit an Executive Assistant who enjoys taking ownership, working at pace and partnering closely with senior stakeholders. The environment is professional, supportive and team-oriented, with Executive Assistants viewed as trusted and valued members of the wider business.
Responsibilities
- Managing complex and ever-changing diaries across multiple time zones
- Coordinating international travel, itineraries and logistics
- Organising meetings, team events and offsites
- Preparing presentations, meeting materials and supporting documentation
- Processing expenses and providing wider administrative support
- Acting as a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the team
- Managing competing priorities and responding effectively to changing business needs

The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous Executive Assistant experience gained within financial services, investment management, professional services or another fast-paced corporate environment
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities whilst remaining calm under pressure
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
- A collaborative working style and willingness to support the wider team when required
- The ability to build credibility and trusted relationships quickly
