Personal Assistant to Group People Director
B&M is one of the UK’s fastest-growing retailers, and we are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to the Group People Director. This role is ideally suited to someone with EA/PA experience supporting senior leadership and who thrives in a fast-paced, confidential, and commercially driven environment.
This is a trusted support role requiring discretion, strong organisational skills, and the ability to operate confidently at senior leadership level. The role will require 4 days per week working from our Corporate Offices in Liverpool.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end management of the Group People Director's diary, inbox, and daily schedule
- Coordination of domestic (and occasional international) travel, accommodation, and detailed itineraries, including store visits
- Acting as the primary point of contact for GPD, managing and prioritising requests
- Coordinating meetings, including logistics, agendas, and follow-ups
- Liaising professionally with senior leaders, store teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders
- Handling sensitive commercial and people-related matters with discretion and care

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have proven experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant supporting a HR leader, or equivalent senior executive within a large organisation
- Bring a strong understanding of the pace, confidentiality, and complexity of a PLC environment; experience within a highly operational or retail setting is advantageous
- Be flexible, resilient and have exceptional organisational skills as well as the ability to juggle competing priorities
- Be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders, and external stakeholders
- Have advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems
