Executive Assistant to the CEO

Central London | £55,000–£60,000 + Discretionary Bonus | Hybrid Working (3 Days in the Office)

We are partnering with a fast-growing international business to appoint an exceptional Executive Assistant to support its CEO. Working alongside the existing Executive Assistant, you'll become a trusted partner to a highly entrepreneurial leader, playing a key role in ensuring the CEO operates as effectively as possible whilst supporting the continued growth of the business.

With around 200 employees across three international offices, the organisation has established an impressive global presence and continues to expand. As the business grows, they are looking to strengthen their Executive Assistant function with the appointment of a second EA who enjoys working at pace, building relationships and becoming a genuine extension of the CEO.

Whilst there is an element of personal support, this is first and foremost a business-focused Executive Assistant position. You'll manage competing priorities, coordinate key business activities and act as a trusted ambassador for the CEO, building strong relationships with colleagues, clients and external stakeholders alike.

The Role

  • Providing high-level Executive Assistant support to the CEO within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Acting as a true business partner, anticipating priorities and ensuring the CEO can focus on leading the business.
  • Managing highly complex and ever-changing diaries across multiple international time zones.
  • Coordinating extensive international travel, detailed itineraries and last-minute changes.
  • Drafting, proofreading and responding to emails, letters and correspondence on behalf of the CEO, requiring exceptional written English, grammar and attention to detail.
  • Acting as a trusted gatekeeper, exercising sound judgement whilst managing competing priorities and confidential matters.
  • Working closely with the existing Executive Assistant to provide seamless support and ensure continuity across the CEO's office.
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the London office, helping to maintain a professional and efficient working environment.
  • Coordinating leadership meetings, company events, off-sites and wider business initiatives.
  • Providing personal support where required, including appointments, household administration and occasional visits to the CEO's London residence.
  • Accompanying the CEO on business travel when required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
