Executive Assistant – Corporate & Investment Banking Europe

London | Global Banking & Markets

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Executive Assistant to support the Head of Corporate & Investment Banking (Europe), together with the Head of Risk & Operations and the CIB Business Manager.

This is far more than a traditional EA role. You will be a trusted partner to senior leadership, operating at the centre of a dynamic, fast-paced investment banking business. You'll manage complex priorities, navigate global stakeholders, lead critical coordination across time zones, and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the executive office.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Acting as a strategic partner and gatekeeper to senior executives.
  • Managing complex global diaries, meetings, travel, and executive priorities.
  • Coordinating international travel, client engagements, leadership events, and hospitality.
  • Producing polished presentations, reports, and executive communications.
  • Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business and globally.
  • Driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Leading and mentoring two Team Assistants.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant Executive Assistant experience supporting senior leaders within Investment Banking, Financial Services, or a similarly demanding environment.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and commercial awareness.
  • Advanced PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills and executive presence.
  • The ability to remain calm, confident, and solutions-focused under pressure.
  • A proactive mindset, sound judgement, and absolute discretion.
