Chief of Staff / Executive Assistant (Remote)

About 16VC

16VC is an early-stage venture capital firm backing ambitious founders building the future across AI, SaaS, fintech, deep tech, consumer, and enterprise technology. Beyond investing, we work closely with founders through our platform, community, and venture studio initiatives.

We're looking for a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Chief of Staff / Executive Assistant to work closely with the Founding Partner. This is a high-impact remote role that blends executive support, operations, project management, and strategic coordination.

If you enjoy solving problems, keeping teams organized, and making things happen behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you.

About The Role

You'll be the operational backbone of 16VC, ensuring the leadership team can focus on investing, founders, and building the firm. You'll manage priorities, coordinate across internal and external stakeholders, and help execute strategic initiatives across multiple time zones.

This is a fully remote position. We value clear communication, ownership, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a distributed team.

No two days will be the same.

What You'll Do

Executive Support

  • Manage the Founding Partner's calendar, meetings, travel, and priorities.
  • Prepare agendas, meeting notes, and follow-up action items.
  • Coordinate investor, founder, and partner meetings across time zones.
  • Handle confidential correspondence and communications.

Operations

  • Improve internal processes and documentation.
  • Coordinate day-to-day business operations in a remote-first environment.
  • Manage vendors, subscriptions, and operational tools.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and internal administration.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
