Job Description
This role requires you to be present in our Covent Garden Office 3 days a week, with the other 2 days spent working from home.
As the UK’s largest independent full fibre network and wholesale platform of choice, we’re busy setting new standards for what digital infrastructure can and should be.
Our network is greener, more reliable and designed for the future. The products we run over it lead the way on speed, value and service - helping businesses to innovate, communities to thrive, and people to live more connected digital lives.
At CityFibre, you’ll be part of something bigger, helping to build a better-connected Britain, together.
Joining us as Executive Assistant
You will provide executive support to the Chief People Officer and Chief Technology & Information Officer, helping both leaders operate effectively across a complex and fast-moving business environment.
Acting as a trusted partner, you will manage priorities, create structure, coordinate activities and ensure both executives are able to focus on strategic business outcomes. You will work across multiple teams and stakeholders, bringing organisation, pace and efficiency to a broad range of executive, operational and governance activities.
This is a highly visible role requiring excellent judgement, discretion and stakeholder management skills. You will regularly engage with Executive Leadership Team members, Board and Committee stakeholders, external partners and colleagues across the business.
Executive Support & Strategic Partnership
- Partner with the Chief People Officer and Chief Technology & Information Officer to proactively manage priorities, commitments and competing demands.
- Provide end-to-end management of complex diaries, ensuring executive time is focused on the highest value activities.
- Anticipate challenges and resolve conflicts before they impact delivery.
- Prepare high-quality presentations, briefing papers and supporting materials for Executive, Board and Committee meetings.
- Support executive communications and leadership activities across both functions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
